The problem
A greenhouse is not one number.
Models vary in size, glazing, structural rating, ventilation, warranty, freight, foundation and assembly — and almost none of it is published in a form you can compare side by side. Four things we are building toward:
- Compare greenhouses
- Specifications normalized across brands, so two products are described in the same units before you try to choose between them.
- Compare real prices
- Retailer pricing and shipping cost together — and, as the record builds, how today's price compares with what the product normally sells for.
- Understand total cost
- Kit, freight, site prep, foundation, assembly, electrical, heating, ventilation and accessories. The project, not the box.
- Buy with more confidence
- See where each number came from, and compare the sellers themselves — not only the products they happen to list.

Independence
You should be able to tell a claim from a fact.
We want you to know the difference between what a manufacturer claims, what a retailer says, what owners actually experienced, and what we think. Our goal is not to rank a product first because it pays the highest commission. Every specification carries one of four labels, and we do not blur them:
Manufacturer spec
Published by the manufacturer, linked to the document it came from. Their claim, not our endorsement.
Owner reported
Submitted by an identified owner about a greenhouse they actually installed.
Tested by us
Something we physically tested. We will never use this label otherwise.
Editorial
Our interpretation of sourced information, clearly marked as opinion.
The database is built from manufacturer documentation, product manuals, retailer listings and pricing recorded over time. Where a manufacturer publishes nothing, we say so rather than guessing.

Local wind, snow, permitting, foundation and building requirements vary. Always
confirm applicable requirements with the manufacturer and your local building
authority before installation.
Why this exists
Nobody neutral has put this in one place.
Manufacturers know their own products. Retailers know what they stock. Owners know what actually happened after delivery. Every one of them has a stake in which greenhouse you buy.
We are building the layer that sits above all of them — so you can compare products, understand real costs, track prices, and decide for yourself.
